The /ai command controls how Snowball interacts with you when you reply to or mention it. You can change its personality, turn AI responses on or off, check how many messages you have left today, and manage what Snowball remembers about you. All /ai subcommands respond ephemerally — only you see the output.

You must have AI responses turned on (/ai toggle) before you can change your personality.

/ai toggle

Turns Snowball’s AI responses on or off for you. When AI is off, Snowball will ignore replies to its messages and direct mentions from you. If you turn AI off, Snowball also offers to clear your conversation history and memory at the same time. This command has no options — it shows your current state and a button to switch.

/ai usage

Shows how many AI messages you’ve sent today and when your daily limit resets. Usage limits vary by role tier.

/ai clear

Clears your saved AI conversation history, thread summaries, and memory for this server. Your AI on/off preference and personality setting are not affected. This command has no options — it immediately clears your data and confirms.

/ai memory

Shows what Snowball has saved in its memory about you in this server, and lets you manage those entries. Memory is used to personalize Snowball’s responses across conversations. From the memory view you can:
  • Toggle memory on or off for yourself
  • Clear a specific memory entry using the dropdown
  • Clear all saved memories at once
This command has no options — the management interface appears inline via buttons and a dropdown.
