If you’re a member of the Xtreme Weather Discord server, you already have access to Snowball. There’s nothing to install or configure — just start typing a slash command in any channel where Snowball is active. This guide walks you through the most useful commands to try first.
Discord’s autocomplete makes exploring commands easy. Type / in any channel and browse the list that appears. Press Tab to cycle through suggestions and fill in command options without typing the full name.
1

Browse all available commands

Run /help in any channel. Snowball replies with an interactive menu — select a category from the dropdown to see every command in that group along with a short description of what each one does.
2

Check active weather alerts

Run /weather alerts and enter a location when prompted — a city name, state, or zip code all work. Snowball fetches live alerts from the National Weather Service and displays any active warnings, watches, or advisories for that area.
3

Start an AI conversation

Mention @Snowball in any message, or reply to any message Snowball has sent, to start a conversation. You can ask weather questions, request a forecast summary, or just chat. Snowball remembers your conversation across messages and picks up where you left off.
4

Claim your daily Snowflakes

Run /economy daily to collect your daily Snowflake reward. Then run /economy balance to see your current balance, bank total, and net worth. Snowflakes are the server currency — you earn them by chatting, completing jobs, and playing minigames.
5

Check your server level

Run /level view to see your current XP, level, and rank card. You earn XP passively by sending messages in the server. As you level up, you unlock new perks and roles.
Some commands are only available in specific channels, and certain commands require a staff role to use. If a command doesn’t respond where you try it, check whether there’s a dedicated channel for that feature.
